Go Illini

On Saturday we took the kids to the Illini game. We had 2 "C" tickets and 4 "B's" so we made Darrell sit up in "C" and the kids and I sat in "B", because he always gets to sit down on the floor anytime he goes to a game, so we thought he should experience the nose bleed section. :)
For the half time show they had the Jesse White tumblers, I think the kids enjoyed that more than the game, they were very interesting to watch. my boysmy girl

worst snow day ever

"This is the worst snow day ever! The 4-wheeler doesn't start, there's not enough snow to go sledding down the hill, and the snow doesn't pack. Why are we at home if we can't even go out and play in the snow". said Drew.
Can you tell he was not enjoying being home. Poor guy. So we pushed the 4-wheeler into the garage, put the battery charger on it and waited.......Went out a little later and tadaaa, it started. We saved the worst snow day ever!
Yesterday Alysha had a run-in with one of the guys at school during P.E. They were playing capture the flag and they didn't see each other and boom! She hit his forehead with her teeth and gave him about a 1" gash. She actually knocked one of her brackets on her braces off and bent the wire and her lower lip is all swollen and bruised, she was in pretty good pain last night. Much better today. She gets her braces off on Tuesday!!!!! Yeah, after 5 years of retainers or braces she is definitely ready for them to be off.

bump be-gone

Darrell has had a bump on his head for a quite some time. It was starting to get bigger and you could easily see it thru his hair (I know, what hair?). I told him he either had to grow his hair longer or have it removed, he chose the later. So today was the day he went and had it removed.
Here are the results....
the cyst -
it looks like a jelly bean and about the same size
ouch! he has one stitch

Commader Fox

Drew and Trevor were busy today creating "Commander Fox" (a character off of Star Wars). Notice the little guy on his shoulder, he is the real Commmander. Pretty good resemblance.
