Finally! after months of begging, pleading and complaining, Darrell
bought me a new "Canon SD750" camera. I love it!
It's much smaller and a little faster than the old one.
Now (Amy) don't start thinking that I will blog everyday. :)
But I will try to do better.

Softball

It was a great weekend for Alysha's softball team. They went undefeated!
They played 3 games on Saturday,and it was a very cold, windy day,
but today was a beautiful sunny day to be a the diamond.
Alysha pitched one game today and wow, she did
great! She pitched 42 strikes out of 63 pitches, Amazing!
What a great way to start the season.

Ouch

Our poor little van has had so many bumps and bruises. We were coming home on Friday eve. (after about 6" of snow had fallen during the day) and we came around a curve and well, we just kept sliding and went into the ditch and of course, there was a culvert and a driveway marker and well, that was the damages :( There were no injuries, except for Darrell's pride.

Snow Much Fun

The boys had such a good time on Saturday, playing in the snow and giving

each other 4-wheeler rides. Alysha and I stayed inside and held the sofa

down, Alysha had a bad cough and was totally exhausted and I had a

head pounding ear infection, not so much fun.

Before and After

Darrell has been working very hard at getting the bonus room finished out for the kids.
They are thrilled to have their own space. It looks great! We still need to get the new furniture for the living room, so we can move the blue set upstairs.
We want to get some shelving for all of the boys Lego's, and they do have quite a few.
I also made curtains, they are a stipe with green, (color of walls) red, blue and mustard yellow, the blue matches the sofa very well. So hopefully it will tie everything together. I will post photos when I get them up.

Notice the old brown cabinet in the other photo. I gave it a little makeover!

Field Trip

I went with the boys on a field trip to the Decatur Children's Museum.
They had such a great time, making dams, creating huge bubbles and exploring the world.

Drew loved working the gears.

High Water Refugees

With all the snow melt and rain the river is way up. Wednesday nite it started to cover the road at the end of the lane, so we packed up and have been living at mom & dads. Thursday nite I took the atv in across the fields to check the house and get a few things. On the way in I hit a spot that had a thin ice crust on top and about half way thru I got stuck. Had to wade about 8" of mud to push out the atv.
